Sony surprised fans on April 23, 2025, by dropping a trailer with no prior announcement. The video not only showed off the beautiful world of Yotei but also confirmed the official release date: October 2, 2025.
Which Platforms Will Ghost of Yotei Be On?
As expected, Ghost of Yotei will launch exclusively on PlayStation 5. There’s no version for Xbox Series X/S or Nintendo Switch planned.
However, just like other major PlayStation titles, there’s a good chance this game will eventually come to PC — likely a year or more after its PS5 release. Sony has followed this strategy with several hits, including Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man, and Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.
