Gold once again came under pressure on Thursday and shed Rs110 to reach Rs13,090/10 grams on the domestic market. In the international market gold strengthened marginally.

Domestic silver also suffered in line of gold on Thursday. It dipped by Rs300/kg (kilogram) toRs17,750/kg. On the international market the white metal strengthened 0.2% to10.61%.

Silver gained by Rs170 to Rs18,235/kg (kilogram) on the domestic market but fell two percent to $10.55/ounce in the domestic market.

Gold rate plunged on domestic market on Tuesday as dollar strengthened. It fell by Rs320 to Rs13,065/10 grams. The precious metal tumbled in the international market too, as the euro fell against the dollar.

On Monday’s session gold strengthened marginally by Rs10 to Rs13,500/10grams. On the international market the precious metal dipped influenced by the appreciation of the US Dollar against the Euro and lower oil prices.
